Final Thoughts

Price

At the time of writing, we do not have an exact price for the Deelcool Captain 240 Pro Gamer Storm. We would, however, expect it to retail for around £80-£100. This price is based on similar models we have seen in the ‘Captain’ and ‘Castle’ Deepcool series.

With this price in consideration, this cooler represents excellent value. Not only does it provide impressive results in terms of temperatures and noise, but it also looks exceptionally good while doing it!

Design and Ease Of Use

In terms of design, and considering both the functionality and aesthetics, the Deepcool Captain 240 Pro is one of the best coolers we have reviewed. It’s almost as if they took everything that should be improved in the majority of 240mm AIO designs and did it!

Aside from the somewhat questionable quality of the RGB controller, I honestly wouldn’t be able to find anything else to fault with this. Not only does it perform well and look good, but it’s also an amazingly easy cooler to work with. During the entire installation, I was constantly (and pleasantly) surprised at just how effortless it was.

Even little factors (such as the small threat to the fan screws) made me impressed with this.

Overview

The AIO liquid cooler market is very popular and the Deepcool Captain 240 Pro certainly finds itself competing for your business in a very busy market. I cannot, however, stress just how much better this is than the vast majority of its competitors.

Its stylish aesthetics are beyond question. Deepcool even went to the effort of making the radiator (usually the blandest and boring part of a cooler) fantastic to look at. It’s almost as if Deepcool has read every single one of our cooler reviews, took all the negative points we mentioned, and made sure that these formed some of the best features of the Captain 240 Pro.

It’s come late in the year, but this is, without a doubt, one of the best all-around coolers I have ever seen.

Pros

  • Impressive performance in both noise and temperatures.
  • Easy To install
  • Amazingly strong aesthetics throughout.
  • Excellent and varied RGB lighting effects.
  • Almost bulletproof in design.

Cons

  • None.

Neutral

  • RGB fan controller feels a little cheap.
