Deepcool released the 240mm version of their Captain EX RGB series last month. Now they are following it up with a larger 360mm version. This AIO cooler series was originally available in black only with matching black fans. They already have a white version of their regular non-RGB Captain 360EX so this was an easy transition. As the name says, it has RGB LED lighting on the pump block.
The Captain 360 EX White RGB uses the same “Steampunk” engine core design of the Captain series. However, the pump block body and the fan frame are matching white. This is in contrast with the black blades and black tubing on the radiator. These neutral colors also provide a neutral palette for the RGB color option on the block.
Although the fans do not have RGB LED fan blades, Deepcool provides an RGB LED controller plus RGB LED strip with each Captain 360 EX White RGB AIO package. This lets users mount a strip inside their case for interior mood lighting.
The Deepcool Captain 360 EX White RGB is available starting September 2017. It will only cost $20 more than the Captain 240EX RGB, $129.99 vs $149.99 USD.
