Recently, Epson Singapore introduced a whole new selection a projectors for various uses such as education, business and homes; with a total of 13 new models, let’s get started and see what they have in store.
The new products proposed divide into two central products then three sub categories with each one offering various features, but with a price range of $699 to $4,299, prepare yourself to break the bank if you need one.
Epson MG-850HD
The Epson MG-850HD is one of the companies first projector supporting Apple devices, which can be connected to a simple dock that slides out from the rear. Conveniently no application is needed, simply dock your iPhone, iPad or iPod and use the remote control to navigate and play your media easily.
Equipped with a set of two 10W high quality stereo speakers, you’re sure not to be left out of the sound enjoyment.
Available this month, the Expson MG-850HD can be yours for $1,299.
Epson EH-TW8000
Coming in two version, the most interesting, and therefore most expensive one is the EH-TW8000, which could probably be defined as the projector’s enthusiasts best friend.
Espon even claims it produces the brightest 3D images in the world. As far specs go, the projector provides a frame refresh rate of 480Hz, this is said to be twice as fast as other 3D projectors and minimizes “blackout time” between 3D frames.
The EH-TW8000 also features 2D to 3D conversion, Super Resolution and Frame Interpolcation to improve image quality, and as if that wasn’t enough, the lens shift and pixel alignment correction capabilities gives the ability to the user to shift images easily while the projector remains in its original place.
The Epson EH-TW8000 is also available this month and comes bundled with a pair of 3D active shutter glasses for the price of $4,299, while an extra pair of 3D active shutter glasses will cost you $120 each.
If the price tag is too high, you can still fall back on the EH-TW6000, mind you it’s still price at $2,999 but it shares the same specs as the EH-TW8000 as well as additional features including a Horizontal Keystone Adjuster and C2Fine technologies, both of which to achieve great image quality. Only difference is that the 6000 version doesn’t feature the 2D to 3D conversion and doesn’t come with a pair of 3D glasses.
Epson EB-S/X/W series
These are the most affordable of all, in other words the entry level, with all four models presenting various specs between resolution, brightness and features, all of which can be chosen to the users preferences or needs.
Featuring a high brightness of up to 3,000 lumens, they allow you to get a bright and clear image even under bright-lit conditions. Other model also offer HDMI and USB connectivity as well as the Horizontal Keystone Adjuster, which is a physical slider that allows the user to easily and quickly correct keystone distortions cause when the projector is place at an angle to the screen.

Epson EB-1800 series
This series is more for the educational and business side of projectors, with a brightness of 4,000 lumens, one particular model, the EB-1880, features a useful connectivity option for connecting to a network and receiving image and audio signal as well as monitoring purposes. This series of projector also feature the Horizontal Keystone Adjuster.

Epson EB-400 series
Lastly we have the short throw projectors from Epson, especially designed for constraint spaces, while giving an affordable solution compared to the shortthrow models.
These models can be suited with the optional ELPIU03 from Epson and will give the interactive capabilities on any hard surface without the need of an interactive whiteboard. Both also come with a Horizontal Keystone Adjuster as well as a 16W speaker and wireless connectivity options.
