DeepCool LS520 240mm AIO Cooler Review

DeepCool has gone from strength to strength with their air coolers and liquid coolers, with the Assassin series providing strong competition for the likes of Noctua, and their entire range of liquid coolers often proving to be the best, or as good as the best, in their respective class. Now we have the DeepCool LS520 the 520 represents that it is the 240mm version, somehow, as the 360mm version is called the 720. If it’s anything like the DeepCool cooler which came before it, this one should certainly impress!

DeepCool LS520

Unlike quite a lot of AIO cooling brands, DeepCool both design and manufacture their own coolers. This cooler uses DeepCool’s new 4th Generation High-Performance Water Pump technology. They promise improved cooling (don’t they all), a three-phase motor that can deliver 3100 RPM (that’s pretty powerful!), and a thick copper base which uses no solder (that’s certainly promising too). Add to that a slim radiator, two of their own 120mm ARGB fans, and some ARGB Infinity Mirror lighting on the pump, and you’ve got a pretty neat package here.

Features

  • An Elite Standard: Our dedicated 4th generation water pump delivers high-performance and low-noise cooling for optimal CPU heat dissipation.
  • Ultra Bright and Cool: The included DeepCool FC120 FDB daisy-chainable A-RGB PWM fans are specially tuned for higher static pressure and concentrated airflow.
  • Anti-Leak Technology: DeepCool features an automatic pressure release mechanism in our liquid CPU coolers to maintain balance when the enclosed liquid and gases heat up and expand.
  • Synchronize Your Setup: Easily control the 5V Addressable-RGB LEDs on the pump and fans for dynamic visual effects through supported motherboard software.
  • Simple and Secure: A newly designed mounting bracket makes it quick and easy to install for both Intel and AMD platforms (e.g., LGA 2066/1700/1200/115x, AMD AM4/AM5).
