How Much Does it Cost?

The DeepCool LS720 is available to purchase now with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of £119.99. – In terms of cost, although this sounds like a lot of money, when you look at similar 360mm AIO liquid cooler products from more mainstream manufacturers, this is actually roughly £20-£30 less expensive while, I suspect, outperforming or at least matching the vast majority of AIOs you could pit against this!

Overall, I consider this exceptionally good value for money based on the quality and performance you’re getting!

Overview

I really like the DeepCool LS720, and, in truth, am honestly struggling to find anything particularly notable to criticise about it. Now admittedly, ARGB lighting is not to all tastes, and that includes my own. Given that this is the undoubted trend the market is taking, however, DeepCool has not done it with the LS720 cheaply, half-heartedly, or as something of an afterthought to compliment an otherwise boring design (and I can think of a lot of products that fall into that latter category!).

The DeepCool LS720 feels like it was created by someone who really knew and understood AIO liquid coolers. And not just the good parts about them either, but also the more annoying aspects (such as installation and cable management) that are often neglected in many products. DeepCool took a lot of excellent ideas with the LS720 and make them all work.

And what has this resulted in? Well, an AIO that performs fantastically, looks great, and is remarkably easy to install!

Should I Buy One?

If you are in the market for a 360mm AIO liquid cooler, then the DeepCool LS720 simply has to at least be on your shortlist. – Admittedly, it is still a problem for DeepCool that their ‘brand’ still has a way to go before it shares the same prestige as some of its more notable competition, but products such as this are definitely a huge and substantial step in the right direction.

The performance of the DeepCool LS720, both in terms of temperature control and acoustic output, is among the best we’ve ever seen. And that includes a lot of models which cost significantly more than this. Even in terms of aesthetics, DeepCool didn’t merely settle for brightly lit fans. They took things a step further by applying a solid, albeit not original or overly unique, customisable design feature (with ARGB lighting) to their CPU block.

I’m 100% convinced that the DeepCool LS720 was designed by someone who knew AIO liquid coolers, from all manufacturers, inside and out. They utilised the best ideas, they discarded/avoided the worst pitfalls (that still persist for many models), and put it all together to create what is, in my opinion, one of the best performing and value-for-money AIO liquid coolers currently available!

Pros

• Exceptional levels of CPU temperature control
• Amazingly low levels of acoustic output
• At least as good as premium-level alternatives
• Bright and vivid ARGB lighting with customisable options for the CPU block
• Exceptionally good value for money!

Cons

• No manual RGB controller means that you will need an ARGB-compatible motherboard to get the best functionality out of the lights.

Neutral

• The overall aesthetic is perhaps a little too reliant on the ARGB lighting. I would’ve liked a few more little design touches that made this a little bit more appealing for people who may choose to not use it
