DeepCool Preparing New Fans for 2024
Peter Donnell / 10 months ago
We continue our coverage of the latest and greatest products from DeepCool for 2024, from their existing big hitters, to some new stuff we can expect to see very soon!
First up, we have their new FT12 and FT14 fans, which have certainly got people’s attention because the middle of them looks like the Arc Rector from Iron Man.
They feature a powerful 3-phase motor that uses a 10-pole, 12-slot FOC closed-loop motor design with MQ magnets. This is a lot more over-engineered than most fans, and will result in much more accurate and reliable performance, as well as very smooth gradients in the PWM performance.
The fans feature a true high-grade fluid dynamic bearing design, which is good for up to 80,000 hours of operation, which is a very, very long time, and explains why they’re happy to provide them with an impressive 5-years warranty.
The FT12 can deliver 79 CRM with a 4.2mm H2O static pressure at < 29.9 dbA, while the FT14 is 79 CFM with 3.6mm H2O and 24.9 dBa.
If you’re looking for something a little more compact, the FT9 and FT12 Slim features a similar aesthetic and motor design, with a smaller 3-phase, 6-pole FOC closed-loop design.
There’s also white LED lighting in the motors, so they really do look like Arc Reactors!
They’re backed by a 3-year warranty and come with impressive specifications for their size.
We’ll have samples of all the new products very soon, so stay tuned for release dates, prices and performance testing on eTeknix.com.
