DeepCool Ryzen Performance – Assassin III or Castle 360 AIO?

A Closer Look – Assassin III
The new Assassin III air cooler comes with all kinds of cool bits and bobs. My favourite has to be that massive screwdriver, which is magnetic too. There’s loads of thermal paste, all the usual mounting kit, and some low-noise adaptors too.
The new 140mm fans look stunning too, with their custom fan blade design for low-noise and high airflow.
Plus, the massive dual-tower cooler design, which is honestly enormous so be sure to measure your PC case before you order one. Its size is easily up there with the Noctua NH-D15S.
With dual cooling towers, tightly packed fins, two massive fans, and a full coverage 7 heat pipe design, this thing should shift some serious heat.
It’s enough to install too, using one of the best mounting kits on the market today. Fitting to any major socket isn’t an issue, thanks to the superb accessory pack included. Furthermore, the inclusion of the screwdriver meant I needed no tools of my own.
As I said, you’ll need a big PC case. However, we have the fantastic DeepCool Maccube 550 at our disposal for this test, so that’s clearly not an issue.
No RGB, no freaky colours, just a monochrome finish that looks like its means business. Overall, a stylish and mighty sized cooler!
