Packaging
The face of the DeepCool V6000’s box consists of the V6000 product name in bold, reflective writing in addition to a number of the cooler’s primary traits such as, 6 heat pipes, a copper base and high performance.
Lifting the flap reveals the specifications in 13 different languages along with information about the compatible graphics cards and their specific mounting holes next to an annotated drawing of the mounting hardware.
The box has two plastic window cut outs allowing a potential buyer to view the supplied 92mm fans before committing to a purchase.
The accessory package consists of 6 wire fan clips, 2 pieces of metal making up the retention bracket, a whopping 33 RAM/VRM heatsinks of 3 different sizes, 4 spring nuts, 4 insulation pads, a tube of thermal paste and a 3-pin Y shape fan splitter. Even though the installation guide implies that 33 pieces of thermal tape are part of the accessory package, they are actually pre-applied to the RAM/VRM heatsinks. Now that’s an accessory package and a half!
Last but not least, the black and white instruction manual which is similar in size to an A4 piece of paper.
