Destiny 2 Coming to PC?

Destiny is a highly-successful first-person-shooter created by Bungie, the iconic studio behind the Halo series. The game’s extraordinarily long development cycle and huge budget amassed a great deal of hype and led to many users pre-ordering. Unfortunately, Destiny’s single player aspect was extremely weak and Activision released an assortment of paid DLC which made the full experience very expensive. Despite this, the game still had a loyal following and appeared to be quite addictive. It’s a shame that Destiny didn’t launch on PC because it might have spawned a competitive scene and turned into an eSport. Thankfully, the sequel appears to be heading to the PC platform according to multiple sources close to Kotaku.
Apparently, Destiny 2 is scheduled for a late 2017 release and existing characters will be left behind. This is to ensure the game is seen as a sequel and not an expansion to Destiny’s current world. This revelation is fantastic news for the PC community and I’m expecting Destiny 2 to look glorious on high-end hardware, particular if a 4K monitor is deployed. Perhaps, Activision has seen the potential audience on the PC and wants to add an additional revenue stream. It makes sense because Destiny 2 seems the perfect fit for the PC.
