If you are still hoping that Bungie’s Destiny title will eventually make its way to the PC, then you’ll be glad to know that your prayers might have been answered. I should tell you right away that Bungie and Activision made no official statement regarding Destiny’s arrival on the PC, but a recent job listing for a PC Compatibility Tester got my hopes up. Considering the fact that Bungie is only working on this particular game right now (at least as far as we know), it’s probably safe to assume that the job listing was related to its PC port, but it could also mean that the company is developing a new PC game in secret.
The candidate that Bungie is looking for needs to be able to execute complex regression scenarios across varied PC configurations, and he should also have extensive knowledge of PC gaming hardware. Previous experience on a shipped PC title is also necessary, so it looks like the developer is quite serious about this particular PC project.
Even though Destiny was received with enthusiasm as first, its popularity eventually declined as players became unsatisfied with the game’s weak story and difficult to obtain end content, which usually involved quite a bit of grinding. Even so, I’m sure that many of you would like to try out Destiny on your PCs.
