There have been many rumors going around about the next Assassin’s Creed game. Dubbed Assassin’s Creed: Origins, the game is likely set in ancient Egypt, and courtesy of a recent leak, we know exactly when it’s about to come out. The official launch is on October 27th this year, and Ubisoft will offer four different packages. These packages are Original, Deluxe, Gold Digital and Gold Steelbook, and those who will pre-order the game will also receive an extra mission. At the upcoming E3 event, Ubisoft will likely unveil more screenshots and details. Perhaps even a detailed gameplay video.
You’ll be able to ride camels in Assassin’s Creed: Origins, which makes sense considering the Egyptian setting. Moreover, you’ll be able to use shields and different bows, while the loot system comprises rare/epic/legendary weapons. The RPG leveling system also sounds promising, particularly since it borrows some elements from Final Fantasy X. Tomb raiding is also a part of the gameplay, with 20 tombs having with puzzles and explorable areas. We should also mention the unlimited inventory space, the level 40 cap, and the different types of swords with various abilities. These include poisoning or setting enemies on fire.
