Eidos Montreal will soon be bringing us a new Deus Ex game. Deus Ex: The Fall. If you have played other Deus Ex games you will recognize the game right away and be familiar with the play style. Designed specially for mobile device gamers. Check out the short video below.
We first saw Deus Ex, the first game of the series in mid-2000, 13 years later we have seen 3 games in total released. Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. All three games were good in my opinion, and I would love to see another. Unfortunately, Deus Ex: The Fall was not what I had in mind.
Set in 2027, you get to play as Ben Saxon, an Ex-British SAS mercenary who has been augmented. Saxon was betrayed by the Tyrants his private military employers. Now his life and all augmented humans lives are at risk. Saxon is now desperately searching information and the truth behind the drug conspiracy searching the world from mafia hideouts in Moscow to the slums of Panama.
Based on Jim Swallow’s book “Icarus Effect”, this new adventure will bring us new characters, and a new storyline. Will Ben Saxon find a way to remove the drug dependency of augmented humans, or stop the powerful corporations who have control over drug supplies and the government!
Deus Ex: The Fall, will be coming soon to iPad 2, iPhone 4S and iPod Touch 5, Android users will need to wait a little longer. I think this new game is priced fairly for any game for the mobile market at $6.99.
