Diablo 3 beta begins

Blizzard Entertainment, part of the Activision Blizzard group, have officially opened up the beta testing for the diablo 3 game as of today. Account holders at www.battle.net are being given their details to take part in the beta, invitations had been sent out previously. Although Blizzard Entertainment haven’t committed to a 2011 release for the highly anticipated Diablo 3 it seems likely with the beta arriving now that it should hit the market by the end of 2011.

For those with access to the beta it will contain the first “act” of the game which is one of several large parts of the entire story line. All five classes are playable within the beta and the beta game is going to be about 3GB in size. The last Diablo game came out way back in 2000 so it has been a very long wait for loyal fans hence the high anticipation for its release.
