Diablo IV Becomes First Xbox Game to Support PS5 Pro Enhancements

Diablo IV will be the first Xbox game to receive PS5 Pro support. This announcement came via a Twitter post from Rod Fergusson, Diablo’s general manager, who proudly shared that the game will be enhanced for the upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro console.

“I’m happy to confirm that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be PS5 Pro enhanced,” Fergusson stated. “Very proud of our hardworking team for making this happen. More details will follow soon.”

Enhancements Await PS5 Pro Users

The PlayStation 5 Pro is set to launch on November 7, offering gamers a more powerful gaming experience. Among the many improvements, Sony’s advanced AI-powered upscaling technology, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), is expected to elevate game clarity and resolution.

Blizzard’s highly anticipated Vessel of Hatred expansion for Diablo IV is scheduled for release shortly, leading many to believe that these enhancements could coincide with the console’s launch. With features such as ray-tracing and improved performance, the PS5 Pro promises to deliver a visually superior gaming experience.

As the first title from Microsoft to support this hardware, Diablo IV’s PS5 Pro enhancements mark an important step in bridging cross-platform performance for fans of the game. While the specifics of these improvements remain under wraps, the gaming community eagerly anticipates what this new hardware will bring to the beloved title.
