Did You Know You Can Now Play CSGO again? Here’s how!

So far Counter-Strike 2 has had a rather rocky start with all the complaints of cheaters, problems with hitboxes, the tick rate and of course, the complete removal of CSGO from Steam this has all culminated in the recent reviews on Steam dropped to a Mixed rating from Valves standard of very positive. Despite all the other issues the players were most annoyed with the removal of CSGO which has remained the most popular shooter of all time since its release back in 2012 its removal means many players who don’t like Counter-Strike 2 can’t go back to CSGO and have lost all of there achievements.
Well, that was the case but the backlash from the players about CSGO removal has forced Valve to cave and add a way of returning to CSGO something they have called Legacy Version of CSGO. You can find this version by going to Counter-Strike 2 in your Steam library, right-click, selecting ‘properties,’ then selecting ‘betas.’ In the drop-down menu, you should find an option for the CSGO legacy version.
Drawbacks of the CSGO Legacy Version
Don’t think that this is permanent though as official matchmaking for CSGO is no longer supported and on Monday, January 1, 2024, Valve will no longer offer any support for CSGO whatsoever. This means that there will be no fixes for technical issues, bugs or any other issues you may experience. So CSGO is still here but Valve has made it very clear that they want to move away from it and move towards Counter-Strike 2.
Do you think that Counter-Strike 2 can live up to the legend of CSGO? Please tell us in the comments below.
