You Didn’t Know You Wanted a Jeremy Clarkson Alarm Clock… Until Now

Amazon is pulling out every trick in the book to promote Top Gear  The Grand Tour, and even a few tricks we didn’t expect, such as a celebrity alarm clock feature for their new Alexa powered Echo and Echo Dot devices. If you want to hear the three stars of the show making a complete mess of recording an alarm clock sample, culminating in Jeremy Clarkson screaming at you, then you’ll certainly want to download it.

Personally, I usually hit the snooze button on my alarm at least three times each morning, but this may have me springing out of bed on the first go. It’s not a huge feature, obviously, but it could be the start of many more of these being released, and who knows, perhaps even custom voice patches for Alexa in the future, bringing back a modern twist on having novelty SatNav voices.

The new show starts streaming on November 18th, with one episode a week for 12 weeks on Amazon Prime.
