Acoustic Performance
During idle conditions, the DinoPC Mayhem P2 is extremely quiet and emits hardly any noise. This is due to the impeccable cooling hardware which allows the fans to run at low RPM values. Once stressed, the operational volume only increases by a small degree and remains perfectly acceptable. While it’s not silent, the load noise is better than the overwhelming majority of previously tested systems.
Power Consumption
The system’s power consumption tends to hover around the 280-watt mark and has a few spikes above 300-watts. Given the astonishing processing power at your disposal, this is a pretty impressive and showcases the efficient nature of modern PC components.
Thermal Performance
Throughout the testing procedure, the system’s cooling loop performed brilliantly and easily contended with the thermal loads. More specifically, the CPU was completely stable at 64C and rarely went past 67C. Furthermore, the graphics card’s temperatures were astounding with an average of 45C. This is a remarkable result and I’ve encountered GPUs which run hotter while idling.
