Dishonored PC Review
Peter Donnell / 12 years ago
Dishonored is set in the city of Dunwall, an imaginative steam punk inspired industrial city which is meant to resemble Victorian London. But all is not well in the city of Dunwall. Plagues of rats that devour humans and spread a zombie like disease are causing chaos in the city, with most of the population now dead or gone, whoever remains is under the oppressive regime of the corrupt government. Early on in the game your accused of a terrible crime. I don’t want to spoil anything of what that is but its safe to say it sees you thrown in jail for a while.
You play the role of Corvo Attano, the bodyguard to the empress and it becomes your job to turn around all that is wrong with Dunwall by what ever means you see fit. The story is dark at the best of times, but its not without its charms and it has plenty of little choices for you along the way to define the overall outcome of the game. It’s up to you to be the good guy assassins or the evil master of the dark arts.
