Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
The sequel to Divinity Original Sin is finally available on Steam. Giving RPG fans a good reason to stay indoors this weekend. The release date marks two years since the successful Kickstarter campaign. That event reached 4x beyond the goal with over 42,713 backers pledging over $2 million. Every cent seems to be worth it with all the glowing reviews coming in on Steam.
Various Options from Steam
Those who did not pitch in for the campaign can still buy the title. In fact, there are three package options to choose from:
- Standard Edition
- Divine Edition
- Eternal Edition
The Standard Edition is currently available for only £29.99. A separate Divine Ascension DLC upgrade is also available for £10.99. This contains digital versions of the following:
- Map of Reaper’s Coast
- Art and Lore books
- Art Pack
- Soundtrack
The Divine Edition is also available with all of the above in one package. However, there is also an Eternal Edition with a £67.99 price tag. This includes everything in the Divine Edition, as well as every single Divinity game. Perfect for hardcore fans.
- Beyond Divinity
- Divine Divinity
- Divinity II: Developer’s Cut
- Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition
Multiplayer Issues Fixed
A problem was causing lobby issues initially, taking Larian studios by surprise. The issue is now fixed. And the group is increasing the server capacity. This should improve the performance. Even as more players come in later on.
