Eager to replay Doom 3: BFG Edition, but you want to really get into the action? Then you’ll want to check out this very exciting mod from ‘Codes4Fun’ on Github. The mod takes the original games FPS action to the next level by adding support for the HTC Vive VR headset, as well as motion controller support, which looks freaking awesome and slightly terrifying all at the same time.
As if the VR aspect wasn’t cool enough, you’ll find it is also compatible with room-scale tracking, runs at a full 90FPS stereo mode, and even features a laser sight on all guns, allowing you to actually see where you’re aiming in VR.
It’s awesome to see the PC gaming community create stuff like this, as even when the developers of the game haven’t done it, they’ll just go and make it themselves while letting everyone else download and enjoy their work too!
