Doom: The Dark Ages Will Use Denuvo

Doom: The Dark Ages is possibly one of the most anticipated games of 2025, alongside GTA 6 and The Witcher 5. Despite this, id Software, the developers, have made the bizarre choice to include Denuvo in their game.
Doom: The Dark Ages
Few things get gamers as angry as Denuvo, perhaps in-game microtransactions in a single-player game, or single-player games requiring an internet connection. Despite Denovo being hated by pretty much everyone it’s not uncommon for triple-A games to come with it.
What makes this case strange is that Doom Eternal launched with Denuvo and was pretty much immediately removed upon its launch due to significant player backlash.
Doom the Dark Ages PC Requirements
Id Software has released the game PC requirements for running the game on Ultra 4K with 60FPS and players will need an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i7 12700K with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or an AMD Radeon RX 7900XT.

It is also confirmed that the game will be able to support Full Ray Tracing/Path Tracing on PC. We can also assume that it will support DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Gen.
