When I saw the first gameplay trailer for Doom, I immediately thought that this is going to be one of the best shooters of 2016. The original Doom is widely considered to be one of the most influential titles in video game history, as it basically paved the way for all the other great first-person shooters out there. As for the Doom reboot, we knew that it was going to be released this year but we didn’t have an exact date for it until now. Fortunately, Bethesda has unveiled that Doom will launch on May 13 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which means that we’ll finally be able to test our demon-hunting skills this spring.
“Relentless demons, impossibly destructive guns, and fast, fluid movement provide the foundation for intense, first-person combat – whether you’re obliterating demon hordes through the depths of Hell in the single-player campaign, or competing against your friends in numerous multiplayer modes. Expand your gameplay experience using DOOM SnapMap game editor to easily create, play, and share your content with the world.”
Moreover, the developers also went ahead and released a brand new trailer for Doom, which you’ll be able to see below. Will you be picking up this game in May?
