Remember how a number of people complained about iOS 8 requiring a massive 5GB of extra storage space?
Well it appears that Apple is trying to pay everyone back, slightly. According iMore, an iPad owner could on average get back an extra 500MB of storage space, with some devices, such as the iPad 2, getting up to 2GB back.
It appears that Apple has been working hard on compressing the operating system, throwing out unnecessary bits and pieces, in an effort to save everyone’s storage space – something that can be quite vital on a 16GB iPad or an 8GB iPhone 5c.
