Once again we’re back to appreciate the hard work of the creative game creator and modder CryZENx. It was way back in 2015 that CryZENx first showcased the gorgeous Kakariko Village from The Legend of Zenda: Ocarina of Time. However, it seems those two years of waiting for a playable release have been worth it.
The new map is now available for everyone to download. While DMCA notices often shoot down these projects, CryZENx seems to have been playing it safe for years now. All his creations are still available for download.
Of course, like everything from CryZENx we’ve seen in the past, it’s a tour-de-force of graphics bliss. As a tech demo, it’s very impressive. You can check out the video below, which will give you a glimpse of what it would look like to play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on a modern high-end PC games engine. At least, one small part of the game, but this isn’t the first area CryZENx has recreated in Unreal Engine 4.
If you would rather get hands on and play this tech demo for yourself, then please do go ahead and download the project here.
