Dragon’s Dogma 2 First Patch is Here!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was going to be a day one purchase for me, and yes, I know pre-orders are a thing, but I’m not paying for a game before I know if it’s any good, and well… it wasn’t, thanks to performance issues and people getting their game locked out because they deleted their saves. So I wait, and I’ll wait a lot more, until the game is in better shape. The first update was released by Capcom this week though, and it does fix some big things, such as adding the ability to start a new game, sounds stupidly simple, and it is, so this should not have been an issue to begin with.

The DLSS performance was questionable too, and now the latest patch will improve the overall image quality while using DLSS Super Resolution. Perhaps now you can use the popular Ray Tracing mods without tanking your FPS too much, as DLSS is actually usable now. Hopefully, DLSS 3 frame Gen support will come in the next patch too!
DLSS, Appearance Changing and More!
You’ll no longer have to use a mod to change your appearance either, as the number of “Art of Metamorphosis” items in the Pawn Guilds has been changed to 99, thank god.
So yeah, get this update downloaded, it’s not a huge set of changes, but they’re pretty vital to fix up some of the game’s big launch issues.
