Drevo is launching their latest mechanical keyboard called the Tyrfing V2. They keyboard’s body itself measures 359x135x38mm and weighs 760 grams. This is mostly due to the metal base. It uses a Tenkeyless design available in 87-key ANSI or 88-key ISO layout. Instead of using Cherry MX or Kailh switches, Drevo uses Outemu switches. Moreover, they are providing options for a black, red, blue or brown switch option. These Outemu switches have the following specifications:
The Drevo Tyrfing V2 is also a keyboard with features which are useful for gaming. That includes N-key rollover via USB, Windows key disabling and macro key recording.
It also has RGB LED back-lighting offering 14 different lighting modes and the 9 different colors to cycle with. There is an optional software which gives users greater control of this lighting behaviour as well.
The US ANSI version also uses double-shot ABS keycaps so that it it can withstand plenty of typing without rubbing the legends out.
The Drevo Tyrfing V2 is available now from their official retail store and partner stores for only $59.99 USD. However, it appears they do not have the US layout ready yet. However, France, Italy, Germany, Russia and UK layout versions are available. The US version is already shipping to Amazon so it should show up there soon.
