Drop has revealed its second-generation Keysterine Keycap sets offering more colours, more compatibility and more keysterine with a see-through aesthetic.
The second generation Keysterine keycaps feature all the original colour options from the first run alongside two new Peppermint and electric Cyberjam colour options and a new Frost option for the Arctic colourway with white legends. Keysterine keycaps feature a see-through aesthetic that is equal parts mouthwash and millennium-era electronics and is designed by MiTo with a transparent ABS construction and black or white legends. The transparent design goes against current design choices but fully enhances the current RGB obsession allowing for light to shine straight through.
This 164 keys kit offers full coverage for most popular keyboards, including 40% staggered, Planck/Preonic, 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL, WKL, 1800, 96-key, full-size, and more. It also includes 2 x 1u, 1.25u, 1.75u, 2.00u, 2.25u, 2.75u, 2 x 3.00u, 6.00u (off centre stem), 6.25u and 7.00u spacebars (all convex), an extra B for split keyboards like the Alice, and an R1 1u MiTo Bucket Head novelty keycap.
The Drop Keysterine R2 set is available for $49 at drop.com with an estimated shipping date of June 21st.
