Despite releasing for the Xbox One and PS4, there is absolutely no news on the horizon to suggest that Rockstar Games is ready to release for the PC any time soon. Well, technically we should add the caveat that Rockstar Games hasn’t even confirmed that a PC version will be made at all. The chances of it not happening though are very slim.
I have always suggested that they will probably follow the same format they did for the release of GTA V. The current generation of systems will have their run, then an updated version will release for the next-generation with the PC release to follow suit either shortly before or after.
A video has, however, appeared online appearing to show a working (but early) PC build of the game. We are, however, more than a little dubious about it.
So, why are we dubious? The user does, after all, appear to access the graphics menu from in-game. Additionally, in terms of presentation, it all looks right. Well, not necessarily. For example, despite the video clearly being recorded with audio (and seemingly controlled with a mouse) do you hear any clicks? Even if we were to assume that this was recorded from a laptop (which again in unlikely) we could still expect to hear something.
All in all, this just looks to be a very good quality fake. One that does, however, sadly lack the ‘finishing touch’ to make it completely believable. Admittedly, we stand to be proven wrong on this. If we were to put some money down though, we’d bet on this being an (albeit good) fake.
