E-Blue Mazer EMS642 Optical Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction

Picking the right gaming mouse can be a tricky task, we all know what kind of features we would like, but more often than not, the commanding aspect of our decision-making is the cash in our wallets. E-blue are one of the biggest gaming brands in Asia, and they’re steadily pushing into western markets with their feature packed and budget friendly products; such as the E-Blue Mazer EMS642 Optical Gaming Mouse.

With E-Blue opening 600 gaming cafe’s in China, investing heavily in eSports teams and more, they’re already well on their way to success. They’ve had many years of experience doing what they do, so despite its affordable prices, I’m expecting a promising result from their latest gaming mouse.

Equipped with a wide ergonomic design for right-hand use, LED lighting, a good quality Avago  gaming sensor, reliable switches, a 1.8 meter braided cable, as well as a choice of three colours, the Mazer is certainly ticking all the right boxes, so let’s take a closer look at what it has to offer.

  • Spacecraft wing composition is ergonomically designed to perfectly fit the palm for right-handed gamers, Innovative
luminous wheel in concave shape makes scrolling easier and response faster.
  • Avago gaming sensor and switch lifespan up to 5 million.
  • Forward / backward function buttons allows surfing the internet and moving front/back page in a click.
  • Anti-interference braided fiber cable in 1.8M.
  • Black, Green, White 3 colors are available.

The packaging is really nicely designed, if anything, it’s rather over-designed. It gives us a great look at the mouse through a large front panel window and all the major specifications are detailed around the box.

Around the back, a nice image of all three available colours; I quite like the look of the black, but the white and green look pretty epic too.

In the box, you’ll find all the usual documentation, as well as a hard-wired mouse. The cable is really nice, with a black and blue braided that gives it nice aesthetics and added durability.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
