One of Electronic Arts studios, Phenomic, has recently announced Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances, a new free-to-play massively multiplayer online (MMO) strategy game set in the Command & Conquer Tiberium universe.
In this settlement, players are presented the choice of their friends in order to achieve world domination through strategic alliances and fights against each other and hordes of mutant enemies.
Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances is the first truly portable MMO game with cross-platform capability, allowing access from web browsers and mobile devices.
Gamers can get an early access by signing up for the closed beta here. The closed beta will start on the 15th of December, in other words tomorrow.
“Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances is the first MMO and first free-to-play game for the long-running Command & Conquer series. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to forge new ground with this acclaimed franchise,” said Martin Lohlein, Senior Producer, Phenomic. “We’re hoping to deliver an experience that will allow our loyal fans to play their favourite franchise anywhere they go, while introducing the exciting world of Tiberium to new players.”
With the integration of this revolutionary in-gamer social and new update feeds, the game plunges the player into a completely interactive and dynamic gameplay experience. Through live status stream and news feeds updates in real time, players are forced to strategize, react and adapt from any place at any time. This makes MMO Strategy a much faster gaming experience where winning becomes critical.
Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances is the second of two upcoming additions to the Command & Conquer franchise. Command & Conquer Generals 2 was announced on December 10, 2011 and is being developed by BioWare.
