The publisher is apparently so happy about the engine that powers Battlefield 3 that it is creating a whole studio focused on exploiting the technology.
According to an invite sent out to Game Developers Conference attendees, EA Gothenburg is being introduced at a meet-and-greet this week in San Francisco as the company tries to lure talent to the new studio. The first title Gothenburg will be developing is being kept behind a non-disclosure agreement that prospective job seekers are required to sign at the event on Wednesday.
More Frostbite 2 engine games is something we can get behind; Battlefield 3 certainly didn’t suffer from a lack of visual quality.
