The next installment of the Need for Speed Franchise ‘Payback’ is due out on November 10. To keep fans hyped up about the game before release, EA is publishing the most often requested information about each NFS game before launch: the car list. Hyper-car fans will most likely enjoy the legendary Ford GT, the sleek Lamborghini Aventador and the Porsche 918 Spyder. There are also Nissan Silvia and Skylines for the import tuner crowd. For the muscle car enthusiasts, the growl of the Mustang Boss 302, and Dodge Viper is music to their ears.
There are 74 cars in all; a collection of well-rounded options to please various enthusiasts. That number seems quite low in comparison to Forza Motorsport’s fleet of 700 car options. However, there will be no shortage of upgrades for each vehicle. So users can customize them to their heart’s content. To keep the experience as close to real life as possible, the developers use CAD models provided directly by car manufacturers. Completing the realism further are actual sounds of the car recorded in person on the street.
