ECS A85F2-A Golden Board (A85X) Motherboard Review

3DMark 11

3DMark 11 is the latest offering from Futuremark, taking full advantage of DirectX 11 by utilising tessellation features and volumetric lighting. It takes your graphics and CPU hardware to the edge to simulate the most extreme conditions whilst working as a stand point to compare results with other users online.

Under a 3D environment and 3DMark 11, we find the ECS A85F2-A Golden inline with where we expect, between the other A85X boards we tested again. The overclock to 4.4GHz helped boost the Performance preset by a few hundred points, but the Extreme preset was only increased slightly above the scores from the likes of the FM2A85X board from ASRock.
