ECS Elite Group Liva Q2 Series Mini-PC Review

Acoustic & Thermal Performance

Acoustic Performance

We were going to produce a chart for the acoustic performance, but there really is no need. Despite this system actually having a cooling fan, the short version is that it’s near silent. Even when under heavy load pressure, if you’re more than 12 inches away from it, I promise you’ll not hear it operating!

This in itself is quite remarkable as unusually such systems with fans can be noisy affairs. With the Liva Q2 though, nothing could be further from the truth!

Thermal Performance

The stock temperatures are quite warm at 47c, but keep in mind it’s a compact unit and passively cooler. Furthermore, the temperature only got as high at 56c under full load. Both of these scores are equally impressive for a passive cooled and compact unit.
