ECS Elitegroup Z77H2-AX Golden Board (Z77) Motherboard Review

As with most UEFI BIOS these days, we find two versions, with an EZ mode and advanced, but first things first. Where the F**K is the screenshot button? Apparently, ECS didn’t feel that a screenshot button for their BIOS was needed, so I’ll be back in two minutes with my camera.
Now that I have my camera and have taken pictures which feels oh so old school, we can comment on the BIOS a bit. The EZ mode is exactly that, and has very limited options which resort to language changes, and boot devices.
The advanced side of the BIOS is certainly more advanced than the EZ mode with all of the relevant options and settings needed to maximise performance.
For myself, the section of the BIOS that sings to me is the M.I.B which allows us to push our components and overclock our various parts.
The BIOS is quite simple but for me, I feel as if it’s lacking in certain areas, such as the fact no screenshot button is present, and I feel that the GUI could be updated a little bit.
