ECS Z170-Claymore (LGA 1151) Motherboard Review

Software Overview
Something I have learnt from my experience with ECS motherboards is that the software isn’t the best. It works perfectly fine, but the GUI could do with an update to bring it out of the 1990’s.
There are multiple utilities on offer, but sadly the download links for options such as eSF (Smart Fan) are not currently working. However, eBLU and eDLU worked.
eBLU is the BIOS Live Update feature. It works by simply searching for the current motherboard and linking to the host web page to look for a new BIOS. You can then choose to install if there is a newer version available.
eDLU is the Driver Live Update. Similar to the eBLU feature, the software links you to the motherboard web page to search for drivers available. Sadly this isn’t as comprehensive as other options where the search and installation process is contained within the utility itself, but it works.
