ECS Z170-Claymore (LGA 1151) Motherboard Review

Memory Performance

AIDA64 Engineer

When looking at the memory performance, DDR4 has so much more to offer compared to DDR3. This motherboard utilises DDR4 perfectly and shows no signs of limitation on the memory bandwidth.

SiSoft Sandra

SiSoft tells us much of the same story, but this time with slightly better scores; this is all within the tolerances of the memory.

Combined Latency Test

Latency is a fickle thing, as you can see that the SiSoft latency is all within 2 nanoseconds of each other, but Aida64 has a much wider range from 53 to 60 nanoseconds.
