ECS Z77 motherboard at CES

Not wanting to be overshadowed by anyone else at CES, ECS has brought with it the best of its Z77 motherboards. The ECS ‘Black Series’ Z77 motherboard, by model name ECS Z77H2-AX, uses Intel’s latest performance chipset, for the LGA 1155 platform, Z77. The board will have out-of-the-box Ivy Bridge CPU support. As you can see it features a fully black-orientated design with large CPU VRM heat sinks for effective heat removal. There is a 12 Phase VRM design for the CPU socket area which is sure to give you more than enough juice for some healthy overclocks. You also get three PCI-E 3.0 X16 slots for the latest 28nm GPUs as well as four DIMM slots supporting the latest 2600MHz RAM modules.

ECS’ motherboard also packs two PCI and two PCIe x1 slots, an mSATA connector, a debug LED, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 ports, 7.1 channel audio, Bluetooth, two eSATA ports, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, plus Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons. No word on availability but it’s likely the Z77H2-AX will ship around the end of Q1.
