EK And InWin Partner To Release EK-Quantum InWin 977EK Case
Jakob Aylesbury / 9 months ago
EK and InWin have once again partnered up to release a new case focused on water-cooling offering you a highly stylish option for your highly expensive fully water-cooled system.
EK-Quantum InWin 977EK
The 977EK is a case engineered from scratch with water-cooling and ease of use in mind, it features premium quality parts through the use of a robust piece of 4mm-thick high quality brushed aluminium that boasts InWin’s recognisable aesthetic. It’s design is easy to build in thanks to its removable motherboard tray which slides out the back of the case allowing you to install your system hassle-free. This removable tray also makes the motherboard tray invertible for a unique setup. This applies to the radiator mounts as well and their respective dust filters.
Radiator Support
The case is capable of supporting up to 420mm radiators in the top and bottom with a maximum thickness of 45mm not including fans. The case also provides lots of support for Tubular-style combo units and flat style pump units with dedicated mounting options for each on the power supply mount.
Hardware Support
The case is fully compatible with most EATX motherboards up to 310mm and GPU’s up to 330mm which should cover essentially any water-cooled GPU including vertically. The PSU chamber has no size constraints unless the mount is simultaneously used as a combo unit mount with a rear-facing pump. The case also supports the installation of 2.5″ drives and 3.5″ drives but is limited by a thickness of 26m.
