EK Waterblocks has announced an expansion to their Quantum Surface radiator range with the introduction of new Black Edition radiators.
EK’s Quantum series of radiators have received high praise and plenty of awards, so EK has now decided to expand upon it with new Black Edition radiators coming in two sizes of 240mm and 360mm with a thickness of 44mm. The Black Edition Surface radiators are equipped with two G1/4″ threaded ports and feature sixteen 2mm-wide copper tubes across the entire length of the rad. The high-grade non-louvered copper fins with an 18 FPI density provide the optimal balance between air resistance and thermal transfer which allows for good performance even at low fan speeds.
All parts of the radiator are entirely black including the frame, end caps, port adapters, fins and even the screws. This radiator is perfect for blending into a sleek minimalist build. EK hasn’t compromised on the build quality either as the EK-Quantum Surface Black Edition features an exceptional build quality utilising top-of-the-line materials and precision engineering to ensure long-lasting performance and reliability. Being an EK product the design is also made to be in line with EK’s EK-Matrix7 system.
Like all other Quantum Line products, the EK-Surface radiators bring numerous performance improvements. The internal structure of the radiators has been executed with low flow restriction in mind to ensure there is no unnecessary stress on the rest of the loop meaning users can add multiple Radiators to a single pump loop. EK has also ensured that these radiators are airflow-friendly allowing them to achieve the same performance at lower fan speeds ensuring high performance and low noise.
