EK Water Blocks is without a doubt one of the market leaders in high-end liquid cooling for PC products. The latest to come from them in this category is their new EK-CryoFuel coolants. The new EK-CryoFuel coolants provide the users with a variety of colour options and they’re said to be the most chemically stable coolant that provides the best possible level of performance, colour stability, and thermal efficiency.
The new coolants are designed specifically for computer liquid cooling systems and EK found their inspiration for the CryoFuel in cryogenic fuels that are used at extremely low temperatures to operate in space machinery.
EK-CryoFuel coolant is a pure, non-toxic coolant based on the patent pending chemical formula, which prevents the creation of any sediments in the liquid cooling loop. It has a very low viscosity and it will not clog or damage the water blocks and other parts of the loop when used with EK-DuraClear or EK-ZMT tubing.
EK-CryoFuel also contains synergistic corrosion inhibitors which will protect metals commonly found in computer liquid cooling systems. It has been tested in accordance with BS5117 (ASTM D1384) and found to meet corrosion standards for copper, brass, aluminium, and stainless steel. The coolant also contains scale and biological inhibitors to help prevent fouling. Even better, the mixtures are biodegradable (90% in a period of 10 days) and they will not remain in the environment or cause any bioaccumulation.
EK-CryoFuel is available as a premix and can be poured directly into any custom loop without any additional chemicals or kill coils. It comes as a Clear (transparent), Blood Red, Navy Blue, Lime Yellow and Acid Green colour in a 900mL bottle. It is also available in 100mL concentrate bottles to be mixed in a 1:9 ratio for 1L ready-to-use coolant in the same colour choices.
EK also introduces a new filling bottle that comes with a special tube for reservoir openings. This could make the filling of your loop a lot easier.
EK-CryoFuel offers a 2-year shelf life from date of bottling and they’re all available now, either through the official EK Webshop or any of their partner resellers. The MSRPs can be found below.
