EK has today made a new step in its line-up of various water-cooling products with the new Quantum Torsion A60, fully compatible with their Matrix7 system and offers a unique water-cooled rig at the cost of an eye-watering €2,490.90.
The new Quantum Torsion A60 is a limited edition case designed specifically for liquid-cooled builds and will be limited to 777 units with two-thirds in satin black and one-third in satin silver. The case, being focused on water-cooling, features a semi-open design crafted entirely from 6082 aluminium alloy and comes with an in-built distro plate and pump which look incredibly stylish. Finally, the chassis features an external power button on the back which can be hidden if you prefer to use the motherboard power button.
Making this case even more stylish is the inclusion of cable channels with aluminium cable holders. The grooves in the motherboard tray can allow you to embed your cables within the chassis for a unique and clean look through the use of custom-sleeved cables. These grooves are in place for the Twin 8-pin CPU EPS cables, up to three 8-pin PCIe cables or 12VHPWR cables and the 24-pin motherboard cable. EK recommends a cable diameter of 2.5-3.0mm which should fit comfortably into the 4.2mm grooves.
The front panel of the case features an integrated premium distribution plate which includes a pump, reservoir and multiple industry standard G1/4″ inlets and outlets all aligned with the EK-Matrix7 system for clean tube routing. This distro plate also features a built-in 14-LED strip to add some RGB flair to the system.
The pump within this Distro-plate is a PWM-Controlled D5 pump (3rd Generation) which is powerful and silent connecting with a SATA power connector as opposed to Molex.
The case offers support for up to three 360mm radiators allowing for the best of the best in cooling performance. The radiators, specifically EK-Quantum Surface P360 are mounted through special push-in fittings (available separately) and have an unobstructed path through a mesh opening on the side panel.
With its high asking price, obviously, this case is kitted out for some of the best components on the market which includes E-ATX motherboards and large GPUs up to 400mm, plus there is an included vertical GPU bracket.
