EK Launches Momentum² Monoblock for ASUS Pro WS W790-ACE Motherboard

EKWB has introduced its new EK-Quantum Momentum² monoblock specifically for the ASUS Pro WS W790-Ace server-grade motherboard.

EK-Momentum² Monoblock For ASUS W790

This monoblock is specifically designed for the ASUS Pro WS W790 motherboard using the Intel LGA 4677 socket. The block features a full metal design which features unrivalled durability and a premium finish providing reliable cooling for next-gen Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs. This monoblock is designed to not only directly cool the CPU but also the VRM modules on the motherboard, keeping all the critical areas cool and under control.

Magnitude Cooling Engine

The monoblock’s cooling engine is based upon the advanced Magnitude sTRX4 technology, which uses the Targeted Die Cooling system to ensure the best possible CPU cooling without sacrificing the flow to other components. Compared to the traditional Magnitude Cooling Engine designed for 2nd Generation Threadripper CPUs, this version has been enlarged creating ideal conditions for the best thermal transfer. The cold plate incorporates micro fin stacks that cover a large surface area and boast exceptional density.

CNC Machining and Full-Metal Design

The base of the block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper whilst the top is made from highly durable acetal material ensuring a solid and durable design. To make installation more convenient, the monoblock comes pre-installed with nickel-plated brass screw-in standoffs. Giving the block a bit more visual flair is the magnetized brushed aluminium cover plate which works well with the motherboard’s design and hides all the screws holding the block together.

Price and Availability

The EK-Quantum Momentum² Pro WS W790-ACE – Full Metal monoblock is available for pre-order now through the EK-Webshop for an MSRP of €449.90.
