The heatsink is attached to the monoblock through thermal pads and contains a reliable pogo-pin connection to the PCB offering seamless integration with the motherboard. Additionally, this block is compatible with delidded CPUs enabling you to unlock even greater performance capabilities from the CPU.
EK has equipped this block with several premium features including a direct connection to the Vector² GPU water block and Active Backplate Sets via bypass valves which opens up a whole new world of possibilities for your build. Users who like to monitor their system will also be pleased with the inclusion of temperature sensors and a liquid flow meter all providing precise measurements.
This shield has been crafted from black ELOX aluminium to blend with your motherboard aesthetics. Its purpose is to replace the stock motherboard I/O cover to allow for the mounting of Vector² active backplate sets.
