EKWB EK-spands EK Fluid Gaming Portfolio

Slovenian liquid cooling manufacturer EK Water Blocks is announcing their expansion plans for their EK Fluid gaming portfolio. The EK Fluid Gaming brand aims to make water cooling accessible to the masses, through more affordable solutions. The introductory offering from the EK Fluid Gaming brand were AIOs, since mainstream users are familiar with it. EKWB however, also designed these to be expandable unlike other brands. This allows users to integrate and add components later on in their loops. There is one caveat to note however whenever expanding an AIO loop.
Aluminum vs Copper
Any experienced water-cooling enthusiast will tell you that it is important to not mix metals in a loop. There is actually a long history involving other companies getting flack from enthusiast because they used mixed metals in the same kit. EKWB is well aware of this which is why they are isolating their regular copper products from their new aluminum product line.
EKWB is also expanding their EK Fluid Gaming portfolio with fittings, radiators and blocks made from aluminum so that users have more options to choose from and not dare put a copper block on the same loop.
In terms of aesthetics, they are actually good looking units. There are some performance concessions compared to a copper unit of course, but affordability is key for the EK Fluid Gaming product line.
Pricing and Availability
For now, EKWB is set to offer the A120 and A240 for the EK Fluid Gaming line. These cost $149.99 and $159.99 USD respectively and come with a CPU block. The A240G kit is also available which includes a 240mm aluminum radiator, a CPU block and a GPU block for $239.99. EKWB will be announcing the expansion products as well which will include more fittings, radiators, fans and blocks. The EK-FG 240 and EK-FG 360 radiator expansion for example will arrive at the end of July.
