EKWB Announces Supremacy EVO Blocks for AMD Threadripper

Now that AMD’s Threadripper is official many enthusiasts are starting to plan their builds. For those who are water-cooling enthusiasts, thankfully there are also waterblocks ready in the form of the new Supremacy EVO Threadripper Edition from EKWB.
As good as the current Supremacy EVO waterblock is, it is just not enough for AMD’s Threadripper. That is simply due to the fact that the Threadripper integrated heatspreader (IHS) is massive. It is the biggest out of any desktop CPUs available in recent years. The 58 x 58mm cold-plate of the original Supremacy EVO is simply not enough. To solve this problem, EKWB had to manufacture much larger cold-plates. These are specifically for Threadripper that measure 68 x 68mm. EKWB also updates the cooling engine by orienting the fins so that it pushes the coolant up and down, towards the CPU die location underneath the IHS.
For convenient installtion, each EK-Supremacy EVO Threadripper Edition comes with a pre-assembled error-preventing mounting mechanism that mounts directly to the TR4 integrated mounting holes.
