More Options for Liquid Cooling Enthusiasts from EKWB
Slovenian liquid cooling manufacturer EKWB is announcing two new reservoirs for their lineup releasing soon. The two most popular pump and reservoir combo units are now available as EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 – Plexi and EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 RGB in stand-alone variant without a pump. Moreover, these pump tops are compatible with every standard D5 pump on the market.
As the name suggests, the EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 – Plexi comes with a 140mm tall reservoir. It offers increased hydraulic performance of up to 15% in comparison to stock solutions. Furthermore, its fully-rounded see-through acrylic design mounts almost anywhere or at any angle. It also comes with a preinstalled anti-cyclone insert, with optional PU anti-vortex foam and EK-HD tube add-ons available. It is completely clear and looks quite striking compared to other reservoirs.
RGB LED Version Available
The EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 RGB shares the same features including the increased hydraulic performance. As the name suggests, it differs with the integration of a 4-pin 12V RGB LED strip. This lets users customize and synchronize the reservoir lighting with their board. It supports popular motherboard RGB technologies including ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock RGB LED.
How Much Do These Cost?
Both are are readily available for purchase through EK Webshop and their Partner Reseller Network now. The EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 – Plexi (stand-alone) has an MSRP of 90.17€ with VAT. Meanwhile, the EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 RGB (stand-alone) costs a bit more at 92.22€ with VAT.
