EKWB officially introduces full-cover water blocks specifically made for EVGA’s GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3. The EK-FC1080 GTX Ti FTW3 with its nickel-plated copper block covers not just the GPU itself, but the RAM and VRM as well. It utilizes the same inlet split-flow cooling engine used in EKWB’s CPU water-blocks. It even works well with reversed water flow without adversely affecting cooling performance.
Users can choose between a clear glass acrylic version or a black POM Acetal option. The glass acrylic version is ideal for users with a vertical GPU mount or for showcase builds. The acrylic plexi top also features a pair of pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED diodes. Underneath, the block is made of electrolytic copper with nickel plating and performs the same on both versions. The waterblock also includes a special plastic cover over the block terminal. This cover has the video card name etched on it for aesthetic purposes.
The EK-FC1080 GTX Ti FTW3 water block is available for pre-order via the EK Webshop and EKWB’s partner reseller network, and will ship beginning June 27. It is available for 122.95€ with VAT and is compatible with four EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card models:
Both versions also come with a compatible backplate, available for an extra 29.95€ for the black version. A more premium Nickel-plated backplate is also available for 37.95€.
