EKWB Full-Cover Water Blocks for EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 Series Launched

Slovenia-based liquid cooling product manufacturer EKWB has released a new water block specifically fitted for EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW2 or EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW2 graphics cards. The EKWB EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 water block fits directly on the video card PCB cooling the GPU, RAM and voltage regulation module with a single piece electrolytic nickel-plated copper base. Users can choose between a clear acrylic material top or a POM acetal material cover; both have similar cooling performance but the clear top is more of a show-piece as users can see the coolant flow through the central inlet split-flow cooling engine design. This split-flow coolign engine works well with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance and it also can be used even in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

Users can outfit existing EK-FC1080 GTX FTW backplates to match these EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 blocks as they are both perfectly compatible. Both the EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 Nickel and EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 Acetal+Nickel are available via the EK Webshop or their reseller partners for 122.95€ (VAT included).
