EKWB Has Full-Cover Waterblocks Ready for Radeon Vega

Slovenian manufacturer EKWB is quite prolific when it comes to creating products. So it comes as no surprise that they already have full-cover waterblocks ready for the new Radeon RX Vega graphics card. The new AMD Radeon flagship video card is fully single-slot ready having all its display connectors in a single bottom row. With full-cover waterblocks installed, it turns into a very sleek and cool (in more ways than one) graphics card solution.
EKWB EK-FC Radeon Vega
Unlike other GDDR5 graphics cards where the memory ICs surround the GPU, the AMD Radeon Vega uses HBM2. This allows for much speedier memory which is stacked directly on-die. This gives AMD more room for a better VRM design surrounding the GPU area.
Since the EKWB EK-FC Radeon Vega is a full-coverage waterblock, all these surrounding components are cooled as well. The base of the block is made of electrolytic copper. The top part is made of either acrylic or POM Acetal material.
EKWB is also offering bare or nickel-plated block variants. There are also Plexi variants with two pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED lights. Installation is easy since it uses screw-in brass standoffs which are pre-installed.
This waterblock is compatible with all Radeon RX Vega 56 and Radeon RX Vega 64 video card reference PCB models.
Pricing and Availability
It is now available for pre-order via the EKWB webshop and it will ship on Monday, 14th of August, 2017. The price starts at 109.95€ for the bare-copper models while the nickel-plated options cost 119.95€. There will also be matching backplates available.
